PATRON SUMMARY

Day 1

On the first day, artists began arriving at the residency house starting at 7:30 AM. Tormius and Mariah arrived first, followed by Dave Krugman, then Efdot, Alienqueen, Bryan Brinkman, Nishant, and Noah Kocher, with Post Wook, Beissú, Abeguar, and Fotogracria close behind. They settled in quickly, and some chose to take a group nap by the swimming pool to recharge after their international flights.

At 3:00 PM, they held their first house meeting, where Selkie outlined the house rules. She explained, with a lighthearted touch, that the residency wasn’t run with an iron fist but emphasized the importance of not throwing paper down the toilet due to the house’s ancient plumbing.

Caipirinhas were served alongside a traditional Brazilian barbecue, featuring sausages, chicken drumsticks, a flavorful rump cap cut, and other meats, capped off with roasted pineapple dusted with cinnamon.

Lunch had barely ended when the artists set up easels, tore open canvas packages, and pulled out iPads. They paused briefly for a group photo and to admire a stunning sunset from the balcony but soon returned to their work.

Josh from SuperRare was at the house, contributing to the creative atmosphere and capturing content.

Unfortunately, Pia’s flight didn’t arrive until later that evening, so she missed the first day’s activities, but everyone looked forward to her joining the group.

The artists settled in well, and their creative work began to flow beautifully.
